Besides containing carbon as their specific element, carbon steel grade AISI 1026 contains a significant content of both silicon and manganese. To be exact, the NOM B-203 Grade 1026 mechanical pipes contains about 0.4% silicon and 1.2% manganese. There are several specifications covered by carbon steel grade SAE 1026 Tubing including ASTM A29, ASTM A510, ASTM A512 as well as ASTM A513.
